Wednesday On A Tuesday...Eventually!!!

In my time on this planet, i've had the misfortune to visit Sheffield on a number of occasions. Thankfully it's usually only passing by it on the M1 heading north, but I confess that I have once or twice stepped foot on the city's turf.

It was never a pleasant experience and one thing has always struck me about the place. I can truthfully say, hand on heart, that I can never recall a time when I have been in the area and it hasn't been raining/sleeting/snowing/been generally crap weatherwise. So it hasn't really come as any great surprise that the pitch at Hillsborough has fallen victim to the elements for our two scheduled games.

As I write this there is no news of a third postponement, it's unlikely there will be an abandonment if the BBC weather are to be trusted, so the time has come to cross everything and pray for three points!!!
